Use this casino wagering calculator to turn a bonus multiplier into an estimated amount of qualifying play. Enter the deposit, bonus format, wagering requirement and game contribution shown in the operator’s current terms. The tool also estimates the number of equal-size wagers and the long-run cost implied by the selected game RTP.
Important: The result is a mathematical estimate, not a prediction or a promise that a withdrawal will be approved. Bonus expiry, maximum bets, excluded games, maximum cashout, identity checks and location restrictions may still apply. Gambling involves risk and is for adults of legal gambling age only.

Important: This is a long-run mathematical estimate, not a prediction, a promise of withdrawal or the probability of completing the requirement. Individual results can differ substantially because of game variance. Maximum cashout, maximum-bet, excluded-game, expiry, KYC and payment rules can still apply. Always read the operator's current terms.
How to use the calculator
- Enter the deposit. Use the amount you are considering, not automatically the maximum advertised deposit.
- Select the bonus format. Choose a percentage match or a fixed bonus amount and enter the value shown in the promotion.
- Enter the wagering multiplier. A term written as 35× should be entered as 35.
- Choose the wagering base. Confirm whether the multiplier applies to bonus funds only or to the deposit and bonus combined.
- Add the game contribution. Use the operator’s contribution table for the exact game. Do not assume every slot contributes 100% or that table games qualify.
- Add the published RTP and your average wager. These fields produce a long-run cost estimate and an approximate number of equal-size qualifying bets.
Keep the full promotional terms open while using the tool. If the operator uses separate wagering rules for cash, free spins or different games, calculate each component separately.
Casino wagering formula explained
The basic formula is wagering base × wagering multiplier. The difficult part is identifying the correct base. A 35× requirement on a $100 bonus creates $3,500 of standard wagering. If the same 35× requirement applies to a $100 deposit plus a $100 bonus, the base becomes $200 and the standard wagering becomes $7,000.
Game contribution changes the amount of real betting needed to record that progress. At 20% contribution, every $10 wager reduces the displayed requirement by only $2. Completing a $3,500 target would therefore require $17,500 of qualifying betting volume. A game with 0% contribution makes no progress at all.
Worked wagering examples
| Example | Terms entered | Standard requirement | Qualifying volume |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bonus-only wagering | $100 bonus × 35; 100% contribution | $3,500 | $3,500 |
| Deposit plus bonus | $100 deposit + $100 bonus × 35; 100% contribution | $7,000 | $7,000 |
| Reduced game contribution | $100 bonus × 35; 10% contribution | $3,500 | $35,000 |
These examples show why the headline multiplier is not enough to compare two promotions. The wagering base and contribution rate can double—or multiply many times—the amount of real play needed.
What the calculator results mean
- Calculated bonus: the promotional amount produced by the deposit and match percentage, or the fixed amount entered.
- Wagering base: the amount to which the multiplier is applied.
- Standard wagering required: the base multiplied by the stated wagering figure.
- Qualifying wagering volume: the estimated real betting needed after game contribution is applied.
- Approximate number of wagers: qualifying volume divided by the average wager entered.
- Estimated long-run loss: qualifying volume multiplied by the game’s house edge. Individual play can vary substantially from this average.
- Estimated bonus value after expected loss: the calculated bonus minus that long-run loss estimate. It is not guaranteed value or a forecast of an individual session.

Rules the calculator cannot verify
A numerical result does not determine whether an offer is suitable or whether winnings can be withdrawn. Check the following rules directly in the operator’s current terms before claiming:
- Maximum bet: exceeding the permitted stake while bonus funds are active may void the promotion.
- Excluded games and strategies: some games contribute nothing or are prohibited during bonus play.
- Expiry: a mathematically possible target may be unrealistic within a short deadline.
- Maximum cashout: no-deposit, free-chip and free-spin winnings may have a withdrawal ceiling.
- Payment exclusions: some deposit methods do not qualify for a bonus.
- Location and age eligibility: availability and the legal gambling age vary by jurisdiction.
- Identity and source-of-funds checks: verification requirements can apply before withdrawal.

Casino wagering calculator FAQ
Does 35× wagering mean I bet the deposit 35 times?
Not always. The multiplier may apply to the bonus only, the deposit and bonus combined, or another defined amount. Use the exact wagering basis written in the promotional terms.
Why does game contribution increase the required volume?
Only the contributing portion of each wager reduces the target. At 10% contribution, $10 of betting records $1 of wagering progress, so ten times as much betting is needed compared with a 100% contribution game.
Does completing wagering guarantee a withdrawal?
No. Maximum-bet, game, cashout, expiry, payment, identity and location rules can still apply. The operator decides withdrawals under its current terms and applicable regulation.
Is the estimated bonus value guaranteed?
No. It is a long-run mathematical illustration based on the RTP entered. Short sessions can finish far above or below the average because casino games involve variance and risk.
